Group PDRA Stephen Church gave a public talk on our research at the annual Pint of Science Festival. He spoke to a paying audience at The English Lounge about automation, disorder, and the benefits of nano-scale lasers for the world.

Manchester Pint of Science

Patrick spoke at the Manchester Pint of Science event at Terrace NQ. Linking the first photograph to nuclear bombs, the Matrix movie and helicopters that appear not to move, he described the use of picosecond “movie-making” to understand energy processes in photosynthesis and nanolasers.
