The group will host another 10-week summer studentship, funded through the Rank Prize Funds. Patrick spoke at the Manchester Pint of Science event at Terrace NQ. Linking the first photograph to nuclear bombs, the Matrix movie and helicopters that appear not to move, he described the use of picosecond “movie-making” to understand energy processes in photosynthesis and nanolasers.
